As most of you you know I'm stumbling through this venture and sometime the cracks appear.
Unfortunately through one of those cracks a couple of post disappeared yesterday!
My apologies to DC, HA-A, JD and CO for "losing" them.
So let's pretend the blogger "time machine" has taken us back.
Men's 100
It appears that the high point of the season for DC and HA-A was the trials and although both got through the first round neither performance was sparkling.
JD seemed intent on mimicking Bolt and "spotted" everyone a couple of yards at the start, but then put in some strong running until he inexplicably he didn't just slow down but applied the brakes at 95m. I'm sure he feels qualifying for the semi justified what ever he did!
Women's 400
Some very impressive running by CO being the fastest qualifier by half a second. With a couple of small blips along the way her "new" way of racing has held up this season. A good example of getting through her heat with the minimum of fuss - it was fun to watch after some of the agonies with gone through with her in the past.
